My name is Ana Mendez and I am a UX Designer based in Richmond, Virginia. I have a B.A. in Biology, which makes me a curious learner and goes hand-in-hand with my passion for user research. My connection with understanding user needs and solving problems, is what motivated me to pivot towards UX design four years ago and I haven’t looked back.

I received a Nielsen Norman Group certification with a specialization in UX Research in 2021, which deepened my love for conducting user interviews. I leverage my research findings to provide evidence-supported designs that are user-friendly and accessible to all. 

When I am not on Figma, I am at the pottery studio channeling my creative juices towards making functional ceramic pieces.
